Stuck: First Traveller - Null, the Stranger
I'm at the stage: Learn the Glyph Sequence for this planet
It is asking me to charge the glyphs to gain control of the Portal and learn the glyph sequence for this world. I did that, but the quest isn't completing. (I even got a screen shot of the glyphs when it showed them to me.
Was I supposed to get the glyphs for a portal other than the one on my home planet (the one where I started the quest?)

If so I'd expect to have a quest marker elsewhere, and I don't.

So I'm stuck at this point. Anyone have any ideas?

Sometimes a glyph may not have been fully charged. Good to check.

I don't think you had to charge the portal in that mission. If you did something is wrong.

There is some others reporting that the portals are not working currently, something to do with the Expedition. So that may be it.

May just have to wait for the patch.

I was able to charge the portal and even go through it. But the quest is still in my log

One of the portal's choices is to have to portal give you the planet's address. I think you need that.

I did that, but the quest isn't completing. (I even got a screen shot of the glyphs when it showed them to me.

Sigh this is preventing me from progressing at all, Neither Nada or Pogo will talk to me, so I can't get new Atlas locations either.

Null is supposed to get the address from you at a holotower. You might try that.

Thanks! What's the best way to find one? Which kind of map shows them?

Ok So I found a holo terminal and all I could do was review logs :(

I'm starting to think that I'm going to need to restart completely, which is pretty annoying and I may just put the game aside.

idk if you can reset this quest. but you could try it
goto the big teleporter in the anomaly and warp to a commuity base, at least far far away
then try to reset the quest with the middle mouse button or what ever key is bound

Yeah... Not looking good. But if you're in the right system where the quest started and it's selected in your log, dunno. Reset idea above is good, and while you're at the anomaly teleporter check the stations listed there for your quest marker?

I went out to over 1000LY away and still couldn't reset.
So I'm going to guess I'm hosed. I'll see if I can get a refund. Maybe I'll try another time. Or maybe just wait for starfield.

They just pushed out an update. This is hardly a reason to quit the game. You don't even need to do the quest at this point and you don't get much from it.

Just go explore, find crashed ships, fight pirates, scan animals and look for goodies until the fix is in.

The issue is it's also blocking Atlas as I neither Nada nor Pogo will talk to me any more. So the 2 main questlines are closed to me now. Something that breaks that much of the game play is going to be constantly annoying everytime I look in my log.

No they are not closed "never to return" sorry that just a fact. It will get fixed.
AND the main game isn't the quests anyway. I've played hundreds of hours without doing any of them past the hyperdrive.
