To put it short: The first person discovering/entering a planet will get the correct wheather. Other people in your group afterwards, won't.
That's multiplayer in NMS.
In regards to the ship-sync-issue. Saving and reloading and joining again can fix this. Can.
Interesting, to be fair, Hello Games has come a long way from launch, but the game still needs polishing, I'm sure one day it will get it, but by then I'll probably move on to another game.
Sucks though...
The game dumbs down the start system for a new save (to make it more survivable for a new save) and that start system stays that way permanently for that save only. All other players will experience the system and planet as it actually is. (Even you if you go there with a different save.)
I went to one of my start systems from a different save. It said the planet was discovered by me even in the different save, but the weather was unbearable. what it says in your scanner. Use F, point it at the sky, and whatever the weather says there is what others will experience.
No, it's actually the second system I ever visited.
I didn't know that about the first system, thank you for the info, always useful to know more, so again thanks for that, very helpful.
They see all the resources I do, everything is exactly the same except for the storms, I've literally spent 8 hours on that planet yesterday, helping out a settlement grow, and I didn't experience a single storm or abnormality. The planet is to calm, it's literally perfect when it comes to the climate.
You know, it's weird, all of us are experience three different climates. So even if I did check the sky it wouldn't make a difference.
1: (Me), perfect climate.
2: (1st friend), storm notifications, when storm hits the planet temperature starts to rise, indicating it's hot. (Heat wave storm)
3: (2nd friend), storm notifications, when the storm hits the planet becomes very windy, radiated rain starts to fall and he sees a lot of green thunder falling from sky. (World apocalypse storm)
So it makes no sense how all three of us have three different climates.
If it was just me with the perfect climate, and those two with a different but similar climate, I would of understood to some degree...
I will check this out though, the thing about the sky when I'm home from work.
It must be so beautiful to see.
No, don't have pictures, I could ask my friends if they do, but I doubt it.
We've long abandoned that planet since all that system had going for it was that one paradise planet.
All I can say is it had tall trees, big & small mushrooms that glowed (Night), grass that glowed (Night), trees with yellow-ish glowing veins (Night), lakes that sparkled during the night and crystal blue waters during the day, a lot of fish with lights on them (Night), it had a lot of fauna but only one glowed and it was a reindeer, I have it as a pet, kinda looks like 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer', but it's a small reindeer.
I'll try to find it and get back to you.
