Any Good PC Controllers for NMS?

I've been looking around on discussions about flight emulating controllers and I want to know if anyone has used these with NMS. If anyone has done this please tell me the kind of controller. I want to play this game as if I am truly traveling among the stars. I am sure there are some that feel this way too.

So.... any suggestions?

NMS is not a HOTAS game. Stick to a gamepad.

The game's interfase was built around a console gamepad, an xbox controller should work fine.

I managed to force my T-Flight to work via X360CE, but it involved a combination of a specific setup in both x360ce and steam's controller bindings to allow for me to use my pulse drive without rolling left and right (which is physically impossible when it's bound to the stick)
I would NOT buy a stick & throttle for NMS though, I already had it and decided to try and make it work, even then the lack of analog roll is pain.

I use XBOX 360 wireless on W10. Works great.

NMS is not focused on just space flight. I would argue that's actually a small part of the game, at least for me. Also, the flying in this game is very arcade style, so wondering about what controller to use for it is pointless. I would focus more no what controller works best for first person or 3rd person games, because that's mostly what this game is. I personally think that keyboard and mouse is the best way to play.

I use both a PS4 gamepad and an XBox 360 gamepad, depending on whether I'm playing on my PC or through streaming; both work very well, though I prefer the PS4 gamepad.

i use an xbox controller on my linux gaming system... works great!

For the PC, look into a "Logitech G13". You'll never use another controller again.
