Just to make sure I clarify, I mean from ships in my collection.
Once you install tech upgrades you can't transfer them to another ship (using in game methods).
Alright. THanks
Yes, it would be neat to be able to do this. My oldest ship is really tricked out. Some really amazing X class upgrades. Stuff that took a long time to get. No, I have a really sweet sail ship that I want to use, but it's seem so weak and slow. I love the sail ships because I practically never have to refuel sub-light engines anymore. It took some time to get it S class and fully upgraded with slots. Now I am beginning the long trek of getting the best upgrades.
Still, it's nothing compared to my older ship. I miss flying my Pink Neo but I really want to play around with my other cool looking ships. I mean, why collect them if you don't ever fly them. ;P
Seems like something that a lot of players would like to do. Especially with ships.
I was a little sore that I can't keep my old tech, but I can at least add the base tech my other ship has.
I usually keep a note pad of systems that have upgrades I want and do a big circle collecting them when I am doing upgrades to any of of my stuff.
Ya, the Solar Sail ships are nice for the feature of saving on fuel. Not that fuel was ever a huge problem. It's just nice.
Sad thing is you probably could have found a crashed one in a pirate controlled system. I have found a few that way. Though, buying it does mean you don't have to make repairs. :D
