Can't cover a hole in the floor
I moved a teleporter, now I have a hole in the floor and the game won't let my put the floor back. I've tried deleting the cuboid room, swapping, moving it, deleting it again, deleting all the floor pieces. Nothing works.

try to remove the cuboid with the curved wall, place the floor, place the cuboid with the curved wall... you might need to save and reload after removing the cuboid with the curved wall to restructure the cache...
The floors over curved prefab parts can be tricky to attach. I would try replicating what you want away from the base without any furniture that could be interfering. Keep a note of the steps you take and the order of the parts you put down to get the floor to attach as you want. Then go back to the problem area delete those parts (and any potentially interfering parts like decorations etc) and try to repeat what you did following the steps you noted earlier. The order of placement is sometimes oddly critical in getting those older pre-fab floor parts to attatch.

A similar thing happened to me and it was with cuboid stair parts, empty room parts and a corner prefab. Plant trays below had to be removed and eventually I deleted the entire floor and put it back. With many edits and saves bugs can creep in. It could be the invisible space causing the interfering. Trying to replicate the problem as simply as you can, perhaps with the basic rooms and no glass rooms will make it easier to solve. Then return to your more complex build.

Thanks both, I will persevere.

The.. are those Small Alloy Walls just outside the glass?

I've seen them cause other parts to be unable to be placed. Maybe remove them, and if it works, then replace them.
Many times using prefabs at least with my builds in the past the order of placement has been the thing that got me out of a fix. It's really trial and error. I think I shall try to replicate your picture to see what I find.

It's a good screenshot by the way and very helpful.

Nope. Can't be done. I've f'ked it all up. Should have made a save before moving the sodding teleporter.

Here's some more:

It should be noted the old teleporter cable is stuck there because I can't remove it. There appears to be a bug because it says I can't delete it because my starship is too close. It says that when my starship is miles away. So it's there permanently.

did you try to remove that curved vubod wall?
then to replace it with a "regular" (glasst cuboid room
then add a cuboid room flooring
and
replace the (glass)cuboid room again with the curved cuboid wall?

Tried that, it didn't work. Interesting that method works perfectly on the ground, just not up here in my base. It's not the only thing that has bugged out while building it so high up.

Anyway, I found a solution. Well, more of a bodged workaround. Timber floor panels!

The wood looks nice... :-)

i use timber and alloy floor panels in some of my cuboid builds, too... gotta watch the tops of the stairs, though, since they lay higher than the normal cuboid floors... i have one base that has 6 or 7 levels and have to jet-hop at the top of the stairs on each level but it does look good...

Actually looks a whole lot better with them to be honest. Shame I can't change the colour though.

I have to "jet hop" at the top of the stairs in the stairwell of my all-cuboid with cuboid-specific stairs. And sometimes even between the individual stair-parts (where I have more than one in the line).

So.. it might not just be the difference between the different build-types.

"jet hopping" is one of the reasons why i prefer to use short range teleporters
an other is the efficiency of those concerning "element count"

The Beehive, my main agriculture Base uses 16 short range teleporter connections at the moment
it is the home of around 2k plants

@Ograus That's pretty impressive.

Another issue I didn't have before was whenever I load into my base from using the save beacon there, I spawn one cuboid room high above it. Consequently spawning outside on the roof.
