Place them in a Building with Power Connections on it.
Some items do not work in some structures.

Ok, so i should try something like metal walls?

For Health stations, because they do not have a connector for power wires, you need to do one of two things (that I know of) to power them:

1. Build them in a room that is powered. These include the cuboid rooms as well as the larger round and square rooms, but does NOT include rooms made of wall/floor/ceiling pieces of wood/alloy/stone.
2. Put a wall light on the wall immediately behind where the health station is. This powers the health station on the other side of the wall. This is basically a workaround that allows you to put them on wood/alloy/stone walls and still have them function.

For the hazard protection unit, it doesn't need power, you just need to have ferrite dust in your inventory. IIRC, it takes 10 to use it.

A Prefab or other with A Line Connection Point. When mounted on the wall they get Powered. Blue Prints are in the Anomaly. If you need them.

I tried with the dust but it still doesn't work

I checked the wiki, and I guess they do need power. Which is weird, because I have one that is working just fine on an alloy wall. I bet I have a wall light on the otehr side which I put there as an actual light....before placing the hazard protection unit. That likely works for the Hazard stations the same way as it does for Health Units.

I don't like building the prefab rooms very much so use alloy, stone and timber for most of my bases. The wall light trick always works for the Health units, but it can take some finangling to get it lined up right.

You can put them on containers as well.
I often attach them to any storage containers that's powdered up.

i've been known to put a pill light on the wall mounted with the round ends up and down... then place the health station right up beside it... the light helps seeing and kicks the power for the health unit... i've not tried putting the light on the back of the wall, though...

i've also placed the other unit right up beside the pill light on the other side to balance the look on the wall... yes, i still had to feed it a mineral for it to work...

That's how I do it as well. Never thought to put the light on the opposite side of the wall, but it makes sense. The power connectors emit a small bubble that will power other stuff that touches it.
