Derelict freighters and all the readable logs

So...I've been doing a lot of derelict freighter runs for expedition 7 and have done a lot of them in the past. And it occurred to me, is there ANY reason to read all of the data logs after you've read the one that gets you the security credentials you will need?

....all this time, I've always read all the logs. But at this point I've seen every possible narrative that these freighters offer, like 100 times each. And it seems that the narrative is the only reason to actually read them all.

Am I correct in this observation? Have I been wasting a lot of my time...for years, re-reading them every run?

You might get a small amount of nanites for each log. But once I get the credentials I stop reading them. Sometimes I don't open any terminals except the last one if I just want the upgrade.

i usually don't read them, but i did for exp 7 as i suspected they were slightly custom for that event.

Oh, I totally forgot about the nanites they sometimes give.

I think I will still stop reading them after getting the credentials though, nanites are too easy to get in more substantial quantities through other methods to waste the time on a derelict freighter.
I can't believe all this time I've just been reading them all for no other reason then "they are there". I'm someone who likes to see the narrative in games, it just became habit.

For sure, for the one milestone they are entirely custom. Reading those, and becoming engaged in the story is what made me realize that in a "normal" derelict freighter I'm reading them without bothering to actually READ them anymore, because I've seen them all.

I wish the last terminal would spit out s-class modules after reading all the logs. But basically it doesn't matter if you read them all or not. I also don't think you end up with more nanites. Would have to test it... with the depth of the quests rather not *g*

Just nanites. I Think theres 14 collectables also from the crates. It helps to know if you just wanna run through fast for the Upgrades.
