PS5... The PC port has a lot of issues and crashes A LOT!

Not for me. On my PC crashes are extremely rare, so I am curious as to your source for that claim.

The system you enjoy most? ...probably?

I personally play on PC. It's just a matter of input devices. I don't enjoy playing on gamepads much. Just using it for flying in NMS and mouse + keyboard for everything else. The storage managemant can be super annoying on a gamepad. On PC you can use Mods to modify your game to your likings as well, don't know if there is a way to do that on console.

Never had a single crash on two different PCs (i9-12900KF, RTX2080Ti, 32GB PC3600, NVMe atm, CPU/GPU OCed) in 330hrs. Probably because my PCs are always well maintained. :steammocking:

I have already read that thread. While I would agree that the issues that you are having would be very frustrating, that thread is just you and one other person referring to PC issues with this game, which IMO does not qualify as evidence of a wide spread PC problem. Also, when anyone makes a claim and is then asked for a source, provide the source or retract the claim. Whenever I am told to 'research it for myself' I tend to dismiss the claim as it has no upfront validity.

Not trying to make light of your situation, but anecdotal evidence simply does not qualify as a good scientific sample. Yes, I have read many other posts regarding crashing, but these seem to be more often then not to be related to hardware/driver/background software issues. The last time I had NMS crash on me was actually due to a failing PSU that wasn't powering my GPU properly. Replaced the PSU, and all is well.

I do hope that you are able to figure this out. Best wishes!

The answer is always PC.

Especially when non PC versions of the game have their online multiplayer locked behind a perpetual rip off pay wall that will blackmail you every month under threat of removing your ability to use features in games you have paid full price for.. because console manufacturers are greedy.

i only play on PC and on Linux at that... my NMS has never ever crashed on me in my 1400+ hours of playing... if your NMS has a problem and crashes all the time, the problem lies elsewhere outside the game... seriously...

Mods, save game editor, backups, tweaks, enhancing your rig - those are all strong points towards PC.
A black box sitting on your shelf next to your TV and gathering dust - that's the strong point of a console.

Whatever you prefer.
yeah, a subwoofer has more purpose than a console *g*
