Exosuit Expansion Unit not working?

I have an Exosuit Expansion Unit, the upgrade you take to a space station, however, when I open the exosuit upgrade terminal, it wants 200,000 units to upgrade and doesn't recognize that I have the expansion unit. Anyone else getting this issue?

I *think* you need to take it to an upgrade terminal that you have already used.

have you been to that station and used the suit terminal before? if not, you have to spend on that first one and then all additional visits with the expansion units will be free...

That was good info you gave me. I paid for the 1st, then went back into upgrade unit and it recognized my expansion unit and got the next for free. Thanks!

Seems backwards. It should recognize your expansion unit first and give you a free slot, then charge you for a second.

thats not the way it should work... at the multitool and ship it works without spending units before using it.

At one point the slots would automatically install when you picked them up.
But that changed for some reason. Anyway, the suit slots have been evolving over time.

When I played, the game trolled me. I have not seen any of these and had no idea that such modules even exist. However... the moment I unlocked the last slot in my exosuit, I started to get these modules as quest rewards or random findings. Wow, thank you...

Same with factory modules...
