You can get some at the Cartographer on any Space station.

Best way to upgrade the inventory is to install the radar and its upgrades on an exocraft, that way you can just scan for pods and skip having to buy any charts. Just need to craft the mats to repair the pods and jump from one to the next in a couple minutes.

actually the best way to do this is forget the drop pods - every new space station gives you a free suit upgrade, so fly round the galaxy instead. its quicker, plus you get to meet travellers on the way (for free nanites) and you can trade if you like and make a ton of units on the way too.... plus its way more interesting the grinding drop pods.

The exosuit slot upgrade from the vendor is not free; it costs a nominal amount of units (less than before). 50,000 or something? Idk I haven't had a need to expand past 60 or so cargo slots. But in the scheme of things it's "free-ish."

Space stations you have previously visited will now give you another exosuit upgrade. I think the anomaly *won't* give you another one again, but I'm not sure.

yeah i didnt mean the vendor, i meant the free suit upgrades from the exosuit guy at the other end of the space station.
