Lush Anomaly
I've been on a quest recently, exploring various Lush galaxies for Lush Anomaly planets. Here are some of my findings:
The most common type, greeen:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2856630124
Red is also fairly common:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2856797491
Red without the weird color saturation:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2860812974
Yellow less common:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2860688803
Purple or pink, hard to find:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2861841343
This pink planet has interesting caves:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2861265498
The pink planet has Activated Indium so the storms are frequent and long lasting. Anomaly storms do no environmental damage. The landscape turns gray in the background, the bubbles become bigger and agitated, and the wind blows a lot. I like it :steamhappy:

By the way have you tried isodorajung galaxy? (19) I'm sure lush anomalies are a lot more common in that galaxy, I've seen some great ones. It's classed as a lush galaxy like eissen (#10) so that may also be a good galaxy to find them.

Starting to think that Anomaly planets in general are probably the most comfortable.

I think I only ever had one major goal in NMS:
I wanted to find a suitable "home" planet. That is to say one with a pleasant plant-based (i.e. not fungi) environment, no Sentinels, no psychotically aggressive predators.
But in practice, it seems almost every remotely earth-like planet out there either has Sentinels all over the place, aggressive fauna... or both.

That said, some of the anomalous ones with weird colours are nice. Unfortunately the best ones I've seen were generated by Better Planets Generation and the base planet underneath the mod was considerably less impressive.

And of all the irony, the best planet I've found without BPG was changed to a glitch planet by the Artemis questline, and wasn't actually the way it appeared to be.

Its fun to find a nice anomalous planet without a mod's help, imo. For when I do, its very special. I'm working across my 8 saves, relocating main base +settlement to these rare finds. Only one has angry sentinels but the pillar is only 7 secs away by ship.

I want my next one to be on a bluish lush anomaly planet. I find plenty of blue lush worlds but none so far that are also anomalous.

As an older guy who sucks at space fighting I added the Mod
"No Pirates And No Random Sentinels " Then searching for great planets to build a base on, I found a Lush planet with the Blue grass and normal looking trees with No bad weather and the Mod made sure that I didn't have any random Sentinels.

I loved that planet and base, extended the base to make a nautilus launch point at the bottom of cliff with underwater sections and the base having great views.
Was really happy.

A friend said he'd like to come for a visit so we met at the anomaly and followed me to my home planet. That's when the magic of the "No pirates no sentinels Mod" ceased as with my friend arriving the planet was listed as having Extreme Sentinels. We were both attacked. So having someone turn up that didn't have the mod eliminated the protection the mod offered.

Ah well ... it was fun while it lasted.

My ideal planet will also have oceans or lakes, but that's not easy to find along with all of my other requirements. Here's a yellow-orange grass biolum + anomaly planet, but no oceans:

Why would this ruin your planet forever? Come back to it without your friend and enjoy the solitude once again?

@Krash Megiddo it didn't ruin the planet forever, I just needed to verify game files to reset the game and reset the mod.
A short while later another game version came out and I restarted the game to test out what was new. This was back before "Next" version.

You've been around awhile! I'm still searching for that elusive blue biolum lush anomaly. I had some close calls yesterday. I found this beautiful blue/white lush world but no biolum or anomaly failure.

I can't really get comfortable on mushroom planets. I'm okay with weird colours, but it has to be trees, not fungi.

I think what I'm most bitter about is that I built my default home-base on my starter planet... which with Better Planets Generation had HUMONGOUS red trees. It was like the forest moon of Endor but in red...
... then I removed BPG and it was a completely generic toxic mushroom planet. I could not have been more disgusted.

Its not the fungi that I like, but the bioluminescence. If we could find glowing pine/maples/palm trees I would prefer those. I found a yellow grass biolum planet WITH OCEANS today, but not anomalous. :steamfacepalm:

Is "HAUNTED GREEN EMERIL" considered an anomaly planet?

Not necessarily. I'm not sure anomaly planets can be non-lush, but I assume so. Land on the planet and look at your ship's dash board. You'll see the anomaly, boundary failure if its anomalous.

Didn't know that. I should use 1st person flying once in a while

When you see bubbles rising off the planet surface (and its not a bubble glitch planet) that also indicates anomaly boundary failure strength weather system.

Classic facepalm moment for me. 11th system of 19th galaxy:

Had I been paying closer attention, Boom 4 would be named "Boom 45acp". Alas, too late now.

Boom 2 is a special planet as well. Lush anomaly + oceans (rare) and super rare for me (out of around 400 systems explored in the past 3 weeks is this crashed freighter right on the border of the settlement:
