But I do think there is a case when a system dont have space station... uncharted system, maybe?
As to its location... I could be wrong, but I believe the space station is always close to the first planet in the system, whichever that is.
its pretty easy to get the station in 3th-person by the "yellow-thing"...
in my case, i just use the radar-screen (in 1st-person) to find some hidden planets (behind others) if they are not all explored into a system.
the most time i play in 3th-person... it think its way easy'r in general ;-)
For whatever reason, the abandoned and pirate stations tend to be a bit darker so don't always stand out from a visual scan. I have had a few where the visual on them did not reveal until I was almost on top of them. They still should ping an icon.
