Manufacturing facility puzzle
When I get into a manufacturing facility the console generally presents a message with three choices. If you get it wrong, the console locks stops responding. If you get it right, you get a blueprint or something.

Is there some method here or is it always just a 33% chance of success?

Thanks!

If you know enough of the language for the race in that system, the messages will give you a pretty clear idea of what choice to make.

Until then, you more or less have to guess if there are no clear keywords translated into English in that message.

The best thing to do is a "manual" save first thing, that way if you can't figure out the correct answer you can just reload and try again. People have also put guides out that list all the correct respones.

If you want to get 100% you can always reload from when you got out of your ship. You can go to the save point before you try the puzzle and save there as well.
It helps to 'learn' the languages at every opportunity. Meet aliens, visit Monoliths, ruins and so forth. You can even stand in front of an alien and just feed them units sometimes. Monoliths help in learning the fourth language of the Atlas. There is the Atlas Anomoly in the primary quests.

It is always better to use the save point before trying, nothing like accidentally killing yourself and having to got back several hours.

There is a method to the puzzle system. Take this as an example. 1 1 2 3...What is the next number after 3? it is 5. The puzzles are easy and you should be able to do them easily.

As for when you get a questiton on what to do...if you know enough of the language you will know what to do.

That's for Transmission Towers, not Manufacturing Facilities.

But the questions on what you do is for MP. Like...there is a fire and smoke comes out of etc, and then you give 1 of 3 answers on your next action. All you need to know is the language.

Until I had enough language to pretty much solve any of them, this was the way to go.
