also, from the wiki: "Typically found on planets with a radioactive environment."
I usually buy what I need at stations.
Same bug with Ammonia.
Gr(Gamma Weed) + NaCl(Salt) --> U(Uranium)
Rn(Radon) + Fe/+/++(Ferrite Dust/Pure/Magnetised) --> U
P + Fe/+ --> U
Gamma Weed is also found on radioactive planets. Salt can be refined, but also found on radioactive and underwater. As to how you refine salt, I'll leave it to the guide so people can check it out. :)
But also, as others have said, it should be somewhere on correct planet. But these things are sometimes very difficult to find (Activated Indium...it's there if you look long enough), and uranium is apparently the hardest to find in a resource pile.
The player's helmet displays where the resource piles are (as does scanner of course), so this also works when flying.
Whenever this question is asked you'll always find people telling that they do exist, that "you just have to explore more". They're lying. If they were right you'd find screenshots with location and coordinates, just like you do for every other rare thing in this game
Uranium in Metal Fingers.
Tons of it.
But that is not good enough!
People want "deposits"!
