Recomended usage of tainted metal ?

If you didn't get the Wriggling Companion from elsewhere then I suggest that. It's the neon green jellyfish deco. I decorated it all over the Freighter. Other than that I'm not sure. I give a lot of the metals away.

You can buy stuff from the "scrap" dealer, or you can toss it in a refiner to make nanites, your choice.

in my case i only bought this "ugly head". didnt do anything else with the other amount i got after this. i moved all into my storage and hope for other new "usefull" things, i could buy in the future ;-) ofc at the end it's your "hard"choice.

(but btw there are way more efficient ways to grind nanites...)

The stuff from the tainted metal vendor works like quicksilver items, you buy them once, then they're available on all files. So, I'd say buy them all, then start converting to nanites. other than that, if you're minmaxing they provide a means to get more X class upgrades(from the same vendor).

Tainted metal is important later when you encounter the robot creatures, who have metal taints.
