Alt Codes

Yeah, title. If developers are unwilling to add support for other languages, how about just implementing full spectrum of alt codes so we could actually type the names of our discoveries, ships and stuff in our own languages, many of which have special signs like letters with dots, double-dots, lines, apostrophes etc. Because right now the game does not recognize any of it, or it recognizes base letter without "special" part. Eg. Ż turns to z Z.

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE SIPLER WAY EVEN

just let us copy text into the damn game from other sources. Like literally, i could just type somthing in notepad and copy it and paste into the game with special signs already.

but what is more suprising ? the game DOES support those. I've seen planet name generator generate planet names with special signs. Save editor lets youedit the name of the starshiip/weapon etc with special sign and it displays in game without problems.

But you can't name fauna and flora with that way because obviously it would be too much for save edtor.

Besides, we should be able to do it ingame, without any third party toold, or copying text.

yeah, you're right, a little annoying..... even my name is transformed into crosses in a box. You can't even enter special characters in the chat. rudimentarily implemented.....

What is your damn problem ? do i insult your language ? People have the right to name their discoveries however the f*ck they want. If it bothers you when you see something named in a way you can't comprehend then that's your problem. you don't want it, dont use it.

Like i said the game Does support special signs, it's just we don't have a way to put them there. Normally i hołd alt and "z" to make a ż, but it does not work in-game. When put in-game by save editor however it works fine. Font is good and no glitches occur

And this is why I dont think its a good idea.

Then explain why ? you don't understand what i said ? thats your problem, because those are legitimate words in my language. And as to your post, i didn't mean implementing things like !@#$%^^&*( and such) just letters needed for all languages to be correct. They dont even have to appear on generator. Just to let us name those that way. (Those two words are extreme tho, most don't look like that)
