This one is more rounded but reminds me of some of the mountains I have seen in RL.

Nice!
Sorry didn't mean to imply that craggy, sharp mountains are what all mountains should look like. They are like where I live (East side of Cascade National Park), and those types of mountains are not usually represented in NMS. For sure in the U.S. we have the Smokies, Blue Ridge, and Appalachians, to name a few that are more rounded.

Good job in framing the planets and the sunset with you on the peak. You must have some experience at this. : )

Being from that area and spending much of my spare time hiking around the Cascade range, I can confirm what Galadhlinn is saying. That mtn range is very rough and jagged; lots of steep walls, glaciers, etc.
Hey Capt, how have you been? I took a break for saw milling and tried out Conan Exiles for a bit.
Yes, I've been to over 20 of our National Parks, and Cascades is a hidden gem. I'm lucky to be so close to it and to have it as my view out my window. Strangely, it's one of the parks with the fewest visitors each year. But that means except for a few of the peak summer weekends, no lines, lots of trails to one's self and very quiet and peaceful. This year the snow pack is fat (and still snowing), so the cascading waterfalls for which the park was named will be ferocious, thundering and everywhere.
and a lavender mist to go with it.

Ok, I must admit I never thought to attempt something like this in a Nomad!
You should submit that shot to the Gek Nomad Marketing team for their sales brochure. : P

And you'd be right.

:-)
I love the nomad, it's my favourite exocraft. It can be fast, deals well with water, you can even get out while on the water without getting wet and shoot those plants without getting eaten by those white medusas, and you can get up a 90 degree slope. And it flies beautifully down into the crepices.

From low orbit.

Very Cool!
So I've always wondered this but never stumbled across the answer. Wouldn't planets with really tall mountains that touch the edge of space make for the easiest planets for building orbital space bases? We have a great indicator now with solar ships, as I've been on mountain tops where the solar ship solar sails stay deployed.
