Constant crashing at random times gb rtx 3060... Help?

I have tried so many different things and cant come to a conclusion on all the crashing. It crashes constantly and I rarely get any play time... Shouldn't my graphics easily run this on complete ultra? I have messed with the settings low, mid, high and.... crash crash crash. Can play all other games on ultra with ease but NMS is the only one giving me a hard time to get some consistency from...

Your rig should have no issues with NMS. I would troubleshoot by turning everything down to "standard" if see if the crashing persists.

System temperatures are what I would check first.

Then check the size of your pagefile/virtual memory. Take it off of 'system managed' and allocate 20GB.

Upgrade to 32GB RAM when you get the chance.

Shut down any background programs, close your browser, don't give any apps the chance to possibly interfere with the game. Especially 3rd party virus software (useless).

Run under Linux. Sorry, cheap shot but it does seem to be a LOT more stable there.

Check the nvidia drivers, newer ones are bugged hell... I even recommend to rollback to 49x.xx (not 5xx.xx)

Confirming, I have the same setup with 32 GB ram. Games that never crashed on RTX 2060 are now crashing. Also, Gigabyte GPU,

I solved by double checking (plug-in/out) the GPU power cables, updating the BIOS and resetting it to default settings + updating all GPU and CPU drivers.

It was running on my 1650 Supper without any issue. I have upgraded to a GTX 3060 OC 12GB. Long loading times and constant crashes even on low setting.

30xx series had this chip issue, THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED LONG AGO FOR NEWER VERSIONS, causing crashes because of OC
