Where to get Salvaged Frigate Modules?
So, according the the NMS Wiki
https://nomanssky.fandom.com/wiki/Salvaged_Frigate_Module?so=search

I have tried on 4 Freighters to loot their cargo but out of 32 resources not one Salvaged Frigate Modules (should be 16 according to the wiki)

Have they nerfed Salvaged Frigate Modules in NMS Outlaws?

Any other suggestions that don't leave me waiting for a 5% occurrence as a reward on Nexus missions?

You can also command your frigates to do expeditions. They return with frigate modules sometimes. I think it's with industrial missions, I'm not entirely sure. I got lucky earlier and was rewarded 2 modules on a single mission.

Have you read the page you linked? Running industrial frigate expeditions and destroying freighter cargo pods are by far the best ways.

Someone told me that Outlaws made it much harder or impossible to find salvaged frigate modules by destroying freighter cargo pods.

I found 4 in 18 hours... I haven't tried hard and done only a couple of industrial missions, however I found a lot of crashed freighter, and search always for new missions... that's why I have installed a mod that allow me to craft Salvaged Frigate Modules.

Otherwise it would take 200-300 hours or more to get all the needed to unlock all tech from a freighter... and if you find a new better one, you have to start over

You should retain access to any freighter tech that you have unlocked.

Ah yeah right.
I was thinking about the base that is ported the new freighter, not the tech, I wasn't thought about the fact that SFM are used to "learn" a tech, not to build it.

Yeah in this case only 100-200 hours are required, still keeping the mod

They seem to be still coming in from Frigate missions. Slow though it is that may be the best option now.

Where in the derelict do you find SFMs?

Yesterday I found 2 inside random briefcases/crates/lockers. Can't recall which. Not bad considering I only did the one derelict to unlock the free thingy from the anomaly dude.
I have found salvage frigate modules on derelict freighter missions, sometimes more than one per mission. I have also been collecting them by running freighter fleet missions with my frigates pretty consistently for several weeks. Sometimes the industrial missions bring them, but one of my balanced missions brought one a couple days ago. After maxing out my S-class freighter, I have been saving the salvage frigate modules as they come in. I'm wondering if they will be useful for some future update to NMS. If not, I may give away a few at the Anomaly. I'm not running any mods.

When Desolation was released, I used to found a lot of SFMs on derelict freighter... now I started to hate doing them because of nests, so don't know if they nerfed the amount.

I never unlocked anything more then matter beam on a freighter though, as I jump using the ship and to spawn exocraft I use portable exobay.

Can someone check this freighter for SFMs? No nests, no ladders, fast run with S class upgrades. But I wonder if there are no SFMs on this derelict.
