Ive been at it for 3 days now...come across many paradise planets just not with water...
I try to jump to yellow star systems, F&G those ive been jumpin to with 4 or 8 in them, read somewhere those are good temps for paradise planets.
ok, hmm im going keep at it for a bit longer then, i might just be unlucky...VERY unlucky.
I jumped to so many systems already.
Zukasizawa galaxy so it's a bit out of the way for most folks. And it's a galaxy where paradise is relatively rare.
I had the same question. Post when you find one. Lots of paradise in Eissentam, even states //water// on the system map, but no water animals to be found. Paradise planets without oceans are just boring.
There used to be a thread all about paradise planets of eissentam but it got nuked. Had hundreds of screenshots.
So on the galaxy map when choosing where to jump next you can ignore all red, green, and blue stars, as well as yellow stars that don't say "water". If you want to further maximize your search efficiency you might also ignore systems that only have 2 or 3 planets are well - more planets = higher chance of the one you're looking for.
Tons and tons. They are particularly easy to find in lush galaxies like Eisentam. The online guides to finding Paradise planets are incorrect though. Paradise planets are randomized and can occur in ANY stellar type, not just G5 or F5's. Anyone limiting their search parameters to those types of star systems will have issues finding them.
In my current game I have been placing bases only on Paradise planets, so far one in all of the 120 or so galaxies I have crossed through, whether the galaxy is harsh, empty, normal, or lush. Oddly the vast majority of Paradise planets I have found were in F0 to F3 range or G1 to G4, but they happen in all class of stars, and it seems to be more by percentage chance per system rather than by type of system. If I had limited my search to just mid-range star classes, I would not have found nearly as many Paradise planets.
As soon as I finish placing bases on Paradise planets in all 256 galaxies, I'll post my stats. In most galaxies I have usually run into more than one Paradise planet in my search, so the stats will include more than just 256 data points. I have other guidelines also: the Paradise planet must be within one warp jump to an "edge" system. I doubt that guideline affects incidence though.
One interesting observation though: most paradise planets I have run into are orange or blue, the green earth-like ones seem to be fairly rare. Orange and red are the most common biome colors, followed by blue and violet, ...and green ones (with blue water and blue atmosphere) are kind of rare. There are also yellow ones. In a recent update, I think they also added a very pretty beige or cream colored biome color, and I have found a couple of those kind also....I think I like those as much as the earth-like green/blue ones.
No storms,
Sparse Sentinels,
Green grass, blue water,
Friendly critters,
And deep water and high mountains....
Well it starts to be harder to find. It could take months or years.
Glad I'm not the only one who's planet changed classifications. Wonder why that happens. At-least the planet is largely the same or I'd be really pissed!
I ran across 2 very nice Paradise planets - one with blue skies, red water, green fields - the other with purple skies, blue water and super-green, almost bright-teal grass that's taller and thin kind of like wheat or something. I've not seen it thick like that before. Kinda cool.
I'm still in early save, so I just plopped a base compute and left, I didn't check out ocean depths or anything.... but they are huge, so I'm sure there's deep areas somewhere.
Just gotta keep looking. Because I was ship hunting, I visited a few dozen systems just in a few hours so... there you hav eit. Even in Euclid, there are plenty of 'em :)
