Historical readings for expedition

How do I complete the Historical readings for expedition? Which planetary charts do I get and can I be in any system?

i use the exocraft's scanner to search for ruins... no charts needed... might need one or both scanner addon modules, though... i don't remember... but i did all mine at ruins where you climb up the ramp and talk to the ball or pyramid that pops up like at the monuments... the option to send the data to Nada appears then...

Or if you have navigational data, just buy 3 alien ruin charts at the space station. Once you interact with the main item at the ruin, you'll get the option to do the scan for Nada. Do it three time, then return to the Anomaly.
