I found a video of someone else completing the quest and its in a solar system called "Dopperi VII" but I don't see that in the list of "All Visited System" so I think either it has been renamed or its different for everyone.
That video might be outdated. Here's the system now:

If you still can't find it and have the glyphs:

Thank You! - You have just saved me starting all over again!
I don't think the system is different for every player, but can't tell for sure, haven't played this expedition yet. But if that's the case, I suggest going through your list of discoveries and looking for systems that were "discovered by Hello Games". One of those ought to be the one you need to go to.
I'm pretty sure it's the same systems for everyone (based on how many Exp2-related "communication stations" I'd seen along the way).
But it seems likely you are correct that the "redux" systems may be different ones from the original release of Exp2.
I can confirm that the Redux systems are different for every expedition.
while sitting here watching others complete their run, i can tell when they find it because their ship kinda drifts along slowly for a few minutes... then they pull up and blast away from the planet

Thanks, didn't know this was a thing. How would I use these coordinates in game?
There's a online converter for these hexadecimal coords:

I don't know how noobs are supposed to know this
You convert the galactic coords OR portal coordinates to portal glyphs using the website listed above, then put the glyphs into any nearby portal and you are whisked to the destination. Of course, you need all 16 portal glyphs to be able to do this. That is a quest in itself.
