The First Traveller is still bugged.

Just got to that step in the Artemis questline and have no real way to find where to deliver the Mind Arc. I've read the roundabout solutions posted here in the discussions, they're just kinda tedious and uninviting. Its just kinda disappointing that this has been bugged as long as it has without an easier fix.

I just did this last week and didn't have trouble. I don't know what bug you're talking about but I followed the questline all the way through to a reset just last week.

Essentially when you're told to go back to Artemis's system, there's no quest marker for it, instead it leads you to your home base.

I mispoke... I completed something else evidently and thought it was First Traveler completed. I haven't had a issue, but did follow to a reset ( not Atlas ). Sorry.

I just finished it without any problem. It worked by selecting the quest, going into space and scanning to find a holographic tower. The system should be in your teleport list if not teleport to past systems and keep track of the ones you visit. Go into space with the quest selected and scan with C... Sooner or later you'll happen on the right system.

I can give u my way of fixing it:
1. Find a wormhole and drive through it (or go so far away u can)
2. go into ur mission-log and see if the mission says "to far away"
3. mouse3 on it to restart the mission
4. go to a station
5. teleport to your base
6. by me: i had a new marker for the holoterminus on the same planet where my base was.
if u dont get one: get into ur ship, scan ur planet.
7. fly to it and activate it.
8. if something isst working (no artemis) then repeat the steps ...maybe change the planet, idk if that is importent to the last mission-location and/or where the new one needs to be.

I needed 2 restarts of the mission, because in the sector of the wormhole, the holoterminus was bugged, so i decided to go to my base and use there the holoterminus.

Hopefully its helping someone.

Thats not working if the mission leads u in a circle (from base to station and back). U need to restart the mission in order to scan for a terminus and u can only restart the mission if u r rlly far away from it.

Just had same bug. Found a wormhole that moved me ~1.4m LY away and was able to reset. Holoterminus was found in the same system I landed after a successful reset. Wanted to confirm it worked for me as well for a fix. Thanks!

Playing in VR.
This mission is bugged for me also. I made the mind Arc and am supposed to deliver it to Artemis. The log say go to space station and use teleporter to go to artemis but the mission icon in teleporter just takes me back to one of my bases.
Does NMS have console command like a bethesda game so you can go forward or back to a different scene in the mission?

Go to space and scan. That resolves about 90% of the mission issues. I had no issue with the mind arc either...but I think it does keep showing two locations that make no sense. The solution was to go to space from either of the locations (station or base) and scan. You should get a call. Take it.
