I am going to die. I am sure of it.
A traveler at a normal planetary trading post created a vision of me and basically I had an epiphany I was going to die. There’s three options, push him away (it’s a hologram so how even?) embrace him. And then “Die.” Anyone know the best option.

Die - you may be pleasantly surprised.

I hugged him, it was the wrong choice. Which is nonsense, hugging should always be the correct choice.

The guy with the lamp as a head? (How does he see me?)
I hugged him, he felt sorry, I was on perma-death, nothing happened, this was in the space station.

Haven't tried this yet, but in all previous versions of the game, none of your choices seem to make the slightest difference to the story or its outcomes (sadly).;

Imagine being on perma-death mode, going to your first alter, you make a wrong choice, or you speak to a vykeen NPC, you anger him he shoots you, and save goes bye bye :D

If you make the wrong choices while practicing your language skills with a vykeen, they will indeed hit you and cause significant damage.
I selected "Die." and was awarded with nearly 100 nanites.
