It is best not to interrupt story missions, or have a backup or manual save to repeat. Else, there is the possibility to reset a mission with NMS Save Editor, mark the previous mission as complete, and put the current mission to 0 or reduce its number.
In your case, it's enough probably to find another crashed freigthter or ensure that your mission is active in the log which will lead you to a crashed freighter with a special icon. If not, you must reset the mission (*). Next time, do not start it if you are busy with other things, the mission scripts are quite limited and don't account for deviations.
If really you must quit a mission location, put a beacon before you leave so you can return even if the location icon disappears.
(*) Fly through a black hole and reset the mission in the log with middle mouse button. If this doesn't work you must use Editor to reset mission.
