Previous Base Item Cache Can't Open "Inventory Full"
I had a couple of bases that disappeared. I am not sure what happened to them however when I put down a Previous Base Item Cache to see if my stuff is in there I can't open it and it says "Inventory Full". Does anyone know how to resolve this? Thanks

I tried using a game save editor but there is no options for the chance. Does anyone know if there is a way to just clear it out?

I have the same problem with the previous base item cache except it was when i bought a new freighter. Did you find out how to open the item cache?

Finally someone else! I have been googling this for days now trying to figure it out. I have been assuming it is that because it has 48 slots, if they are all full you need 48 open inventory slots to receive everything. And there's no way I'll ever have that without dismantling all my tech. But its been driving me crazy because I thought I was able to access the grid before and take things individually.

Well I never found out how to get my stuff back however I have resolved the glitch and I am not quite sure what I did to do so. An interesting side note when I lost my bases I also lost my freighter so maybe there is a connection with the freighters. I was finally able to open it again by starting a new base then deleting it. The only thing that was in the cache was the copper from the base module though.

FYI, I'm having the same problem after buying a new freighter as well. To experiment I dismantled every item in my suit and completely cleaned out my inventory and my personal cargo inventory and it still says "Inventory Full" when trying to access PBIC. I even cleaned out my freighter inventory just in case it was looking at that. No Luck.

Same here. This is driving me crazy, because when you delete something in your base - since you cant move them - you loose the resources??! That's nuts. Even Fallout 4 had a system to delete and reposition itens. I thought everything just went to the PBIC but I only get "Inventory Full" when trying to access it. And I have like 30 slots open on my exosuit, 25 on Ship, 15 on Freighter and 35 on Roamer.

If anyone finds out how to do it, please share! :)

It's related to the new power system. The module now needs power, which it doesn't get, apparently, from the freighter. And for some reason, it's not giving the right error message. I was able to resolve this by building a new one at my surface base.

Oh wow, thank you this worked perfectly!

What do you mean it needs power? What do I connect the wire to? I still get the inventory full. Do I also need to get rid of my exosuit inventory first? Its been a long time since I have logged in and I know there is a bunch of stuff from my old base in this thing but I cant get to it!

If you put it in either the Square room or the Cylindrical room it should just receive power. However, you do also need to power the room using the power sockets on the outside of the room.
This is what worked for me anyway!

Thanks for the reply. I had not done that and hoping that would fix it. Unfortunately I just tried creating a square room then powered it (biofuel reactor running and connected to square room with wire) and dropped the base cache in the room and it still says inventory full :(.

Previous base item cache does NOT NEED POWER. Your suit, the front inventory needs to be cleaned out. Even if you have room in your cargo inventory but the front inventory is full ,you'll get the message Inventory Full. So move stuff out of your front inventory in your suit and try again

Doesn't really help. It's bugged at the moment.

It's bugged, period. Even a 48-slot inventory will give you the same error.
