Oculus Rift - How Do I Take a Screenshot?

This one is driving me nuts. I can't find anyway to take a screen shot using the Touch controllers. It's probably something really obvious I'm missing.

While in the game, hit the home button on the right touch controller. Point the cursor at those 3 or 4 little dots on the right side of the Oculus Dash. A window will pop up. There should be a selection to record/stream video and take a screen shot. When you select screen shot it will do a 5 second count down. Hit the home button again on the controller and resume the game before the countdown is done. The screenshot will be saved in your Pictures folder. Keep in mind, its not going to be full res so if your monitor is 1080p monitor, your VR screen shot will be 1536x1536

think I might need some more help here:

The answer above was good for taking an 'Oculus' screenshot, (LG+Y takes a 'SteamVR' screenshot). But, I need to able to take a photograph to complete some missions non of the above workarounds work.

If I have the screen shot mission selected as active and I am on lets say a Frozen world, required for mission) then I get a mission dialogue stating to use the left hand menu on Glove but I cannot find any where to take a photograph.

Yea, there seems to be no way of taking a camera shot INGAME (like you could in the 2D game) unless it pops up a thing telling you you can. Like when I was forced to build a hut, it gave me an option to take a photo of it, but I wasn`t interested in taking a photo of a hut I never wanted. Since then- there seems no other way.

If it`s there it`s well hidden!

Just for Information - I have reported this via hello games bug reporting site, so hopefully something will come of it.

the in game screenshot feature is bugged at the moment I recommend loading the game in pancake mode if you need to take a screenshot for a mission.

Similar issue with renaming your base.

I was playing with the Steam menu (on my Rift S) trying to find how to take a screen shot and you can view controls, which includes how to do stuff in photo mode. So it’s there under the hood, just no way to actually get into photo mode (not that I can see anyway).

Using the in game Camera mode leaves a bunch of random colours at the bottom left of the screen and won't go away until the game is restarted. Just an FYI.

You found the ingame camera mode on the Rift S?
