Stuck on quest

Hi I cant do quest The Space Anomaly.I speak wih npc Helios and nothing happend. Only have two conversation options no data (it is grey) and leave. Pls Help

Did you speak to Nada and Polo then Ares after Helios. You're supposed to get blueprints as well at the other kiosks (if you can find them-a maze in there).

I speak with them. I have quest mark on helios.

You have to go visit a plant you've never visited and then return to helios. Then you'll be able to give him data and receive nanites.

I think I speak with him before quest maybe thats a problem. What kind of discovery he want from me ?

Time to necro this thread.
I have a similar problem:
I spoke with helios once and traded planet information for nanites. Since then there is only one dialogue option: Talk about the past. Nothing else. Is Helios just a one time nanite grab? Or am I mssing something? Or is it just borked for me?
Same goes for Ares:
I could speak one time with him and trade nanites for information. Since then the option to gibe him nanites is greyed out. Despite my ridicolous amount of nanites which I could throw at him. Is he a one time nanite trade, too? Or is the nexus not working for me as intended.
For further information - I play singleplayer. Maybe it's related to this?
Would be glad if someone could bring some light into this.

Hey, what do you mean by this? How do you ‘visit’ a plant? I’m asking for a friend and he tried scanning a tree with his analysis visor but that didn’t work. What exactly is he meant to do?

I also have this problem (PS4). Sent a bug report to Hello Games but no response thus far. I've discovered other planets in the meantime but it still doesn't give me the option to give data to Helios.

What do you mean with "Plant"? A factory somewhere? a city? a space station?
I tried it all! And still the only option it gives me is , ask about his past. And he refuses to talk about it. That;s it. While the marker of the mission is over it;s head.
Totaly stuck at the start of the game :( I really wanted to playt this game, but because i overseen something or had to do something it is stuck. Even the popup i get is TALK to HELIOS. But nothing happens!!!!!

If you talked to Helios before instructed you more than likely have to wait until instructed and than also wait for daily reset.

Helios has 3 data sets. and he wants a certain data set each day. If you have turned in the data set for that day before talking to Nada and Polo he will not talk to you until a new data set turn in. So after the daily reset, make sure that Helios is the mission and then talk to him. If you wait too many days the data set he wants will reset to the one you have already done and he wont talk to you again.

Plant is a misspelling. They are talking planet. If you go to a new planet or a new system and scan the data helios wants sometimes he will take that. Not sure, most people have the best luck just waiting for the daily reset and turning in that data after the reset.

been playing for more then 50 hrs!!! PEople pls stop talking about the 24hr wait!!! I been to 100 plants brought 100 bluepriunts. did over 30 mission of all kind, and still the Helios mission is stuck in the only choice, ask for his past, and he refuses to talk about it.!!! I roamed the analogy 5 times around. all tell me to go with no choices left. The marker of mission is on HELIOS!!! I bought from every seller onthe anamoly blueprints. Nothings helps!!!! And i discovered load of systems and planets in the meanwhile!!! cause there nothing else to do then play freely now, the story is stuck!!! I even uploaded it all to network.
What more can i do?????
Why is there no real explanation as in how to do the Helios mission? why these vage awnsers of people that r themselfs not even sure it will work??? Even WIKI pages or people that do official walkthroughs and help us out, come with vage explanations as in how to finish this mission?!?!?! they try to awnser it while not really knowing the cause. teling to wait out the timer, go ot a new system, buy blueprints, talk to people. But the people that do have the bug, all have the REAL solution of , It somehow works now, and try to look in their own memory what maybe could be the cause ofit, and write it down as a solution!!!

PEOPLE write only if you have the SOLUTION!!! what good does it do to me when people just write what they think with nothing to back it up. so annoying.

shame that such a bug EARLY in the game totaly ruins it. i can only do side missions.!!! this sucks totaly!

GAMES, should put a popup after an hour or so, to help people out with hints!!!! Cause when you can't finish a mission it;s obvious you need help!!! In this game the help i get is, "Talk to HELIOS!!!!!!!!!!" how dumb is that????

I will have to abandon this AWESOME game because of this stupid SMALL mission in the start of the game. I bet a lot of players left because of this MISSION!
Mission like these should be half way in the game or at the end, when your FIMLILIAR with all the controls and options the game has!!!!! this is a needle in a haystack!!! And then i'm not even sure if I missed something or it really is a bug, cause a lot of people or stuck on the same thing on different consoles!!! wich suggests it's a bug or bad gameprograaming in how the game progresses and so on.

Why can't i use the quick menu and activate the jump for the mission automaticly. but in helios mission i can't wich suggest i have to be in the system i am now!

Helios "resets" every 24 hours (real time). So, you just have to wait and visit him again, then you'll be able to get the option you need in order to finish the quest. Worked for me just fine.
