Change dual display in VR mode on Monitor
I would like for people to see my monitor and watch the game as I play in VR. But, currently, it shows two slightly mirrored images and can look really confusing. Does anyone know how to make it display as if you were simply playing on the PC?

Thanks.

I would like to know that too because for some reason the VR mirror window is the same resolution as the HMD and because of that it doesn't properly fit my LCD screen which is roughly x4 lower resolution.
my VR mirror is way off to the left and I can't even select menus because of that I have to lower VR HMD resolution to min or 1/2 just to play NMS!
You'll have to google the name of it, but there's a program that the youtube streamers are using. You could come to a Gaming Mike Stream or Ivy Mike stream and ask them :)
you can use OBS to select which eye to render. That should work, if you're on oculus you can also use the oculus mirror tool found in the oculus folder which should also only render the left eye.
It would be ideal if they just added a proper implementation of Steam VR or Oculus SDK so that mirrored mode worked properly in the first place. We're all alpha testing VR support for them.

We really are. I’m all for their dedication with improving the VR but they definitely did very limited testing for PCVR. I would really just like to know what magical combination of parts the press demo’d a few months back. Once again they built up the hype.
