NipNip buds?

Hello.

Where the hell am i supposed to get NipNip buds?
Since you can't barter with geks anymore.. what to do?

Does anyone want to trade?

Not sure what recipe is but you can grow them. You can buy blueprint in anomaly

Yeah, but in order to grow them i need them in the first place, hence my question :D

You can still barter with Gek NPCs...I did, you just have to be sufficient notoriety with them to impress them enough.

I think you can get them from the green crates, thats scattered across planets.

Every Gek i encounter just gives me the option to learn the language, give them a gift or to try out my language skills... i know you used to be able to barter with them for 1000 units but that option just doesnt appear to me anymore..

and yeah i have the highest standing with them :/

You should still be able to buy them from NPC ship captains that land at space stations, trade posts, minor settlements, and your freighter. You may have to try a few of them before you find one selling them.

I literally tried that for hours on end, but to no avail.
They only sell Geknip and Relics...

Justa wild thot, but can you disassemble Gek Nip in a refiner? I haven't tried, but it could be a way of getting the buds. I don't recall seeing NipNip buds in the wild after NEXT dropped (don't recall running into them very often pre-NEXT now that I think about it), but they didn't disappear from my Atlas Rises save, so had to still be a legit item.

i tried that already.. refiner doesnt work.

Have you actually looked at the recipe? Perhaps the buds were removed from the recipe

I know plants like gravitino balls/albuman pearls dont actually require the product to grow, its just some random material

Well nobody here knows i guess. Just keep doing the barter for 1000 units with the geks and maybe you will get lucky
