Deposits not showing in visor after scan?

Hello, just wanted to check if anyone else was having this issue.

Deposits of any mineral, do not show up on the HUD with a marker, nor looking through the visor.

I doubt it is the planet I am on as I have found deposits just by running around.

Standing close by an already found deposit, using my scanner, the 'cage' appears around it, but still, no marker or recognition through visor or on HUD.

Anyone else? Is there something I am missing?

The visor should show the deposits. I usually see 5+ deposits. It's a pain to turn 360 degrees checking every one of them when I'm looking for some specific material.

Once you find one with the visor, hold E to tag it, then it will appear in the HUD.

I figured out the problem. I had purchased an upgrade and when I installed it I removed the actual scanner. So I just had the upgrade module installed which resulted in me not picking up the mineral deposits.

Now interestingly, I reinstalled the base scanner, and the Awakenings quest line has jumped back to "warping to another system", even though i was past that.

Edit: Ok I think it is just the next step in the quest, i cant remember if there was a requirement to warp twice. Oh well, just gotta find a marker on an extreme planet, irradiated thunderstorms.....
