No I deleted my base through the computer and built a new one on another system and salvage capsule worked. You don't need space on you. You open the capsule and it is a whole new inventory like a ship inventory and you get to pick anything you want or keep them there.
The thing is I had a capsule on my old base and it did the same thing but I assumed reason was because there was nothing in it.
If you deleted the base with the computer make sure you do the new base on a different system maybe it works ?
Did you remove the computer from deleted base ? try that and I am not sure how you deleted your base, did you delete manually part by part or something. sorry it is just I think if you do exactly what I did it should work.
Previously, you opened it and you would take the items out. I cannot open it at all.
It was a starter base and I manually removed most of it already. I ensure you there are not 10 different types of items in the salvage capsule.
That is why, thanks for not answering my logical answer btw lol. Because you manually removed most things game didn't consider those left over parts as a base so that is why you have no previous base loot. When it is empty (as I said ...) it says inventory full.
Not a glitch as I tested the capsule with my old game file and it worked.
The things is that I does not recall erasing any base at all, strange...
This is true, I emptied out one of these last weekend, and after it was empty, it said "inventory full" any time I tried to open it. I just deleted it after that.
Different object. The freighter doesn't have a 'delete' button, so there's never anything inside it.
Aww That sucks...
At least most of my stuff was in my storage units.
