Control remapping not fixed in latest patch.

I've got the same issue as many others. I cannot remap controls. I don't encounter a crash when attempting to do so, I just get a blank box for each command that won't allow any changes.

I was hoping the patch I just received this morning would resolve this but sadly, no.

Has anyone found a work-around for this or do I just keep waiting?

I'd just say to use a controller or VR controllers in the meantime.

You might be able to find a 3rd party application to rebind outside the game (I know logitech has a few), but I'm not sure I would recommend it unless it has application specific hooks.

same here and i need the whole remapping because i have a disability and i only use one hand to play, so i remap all buttons to my mouse with 11 buttons but i can´t anymore thks helloshitgames ...

Ah gotcha. Yea I hear you. I'm a full M+K guy and only recently bought an Xbox One controller to play 3rd person action games with. I'm left-handed so this issue in No Man's Sky is screwing me up too, but luckily I have the VIVE, so I'm able to play in VR with those controls (or my Xbox controller).

I'm in the same boat. I destroyed one hand in a savage motorbike crash. This remapping issue is pretty frustrating because up until Beyond released, I'd been playing NMS with a great custom remap I'd set up that worked fine for me. Update to Beyond, and the game is pretty much impossible to play.

I've no interest in the multiplayer aspect and don't have VR. I was perfectly happy before Beyond!

exactelly =/ i just can´t play because i dont even know the default keys to change the profile in my mouse and the game doesn´t allow to change .. it´s just ridiculous ...

I hate using default keybinds because for over 15 years my middle mousebutton has been my push to talk in VOIP, and in this game it deletes things and I'm not undoing 15+ years of muscle memory for one game that doesn't let me rebind things.

The same problem that plenty of others are having. Search these forums for "controls" or "keyboard".

Maybe the fact that you're using a controller helps? I'm not sure. I only use mouse & keyboard.
