There's currently a bug with some resources when using the extractors! I've tried Cobalt, it works. Gold doesn't work, I'll try other resources tonight!
supply depot at 100%, absolutely nothing I can do with it.
If you approach the supply depot, you can open it like every other container. On the PC you click and hold "E" which then opens the depot. Then transfer the stored cargo to your exosuit or ship.
Some mineral types are still bugged and can't be extracted, most notably magnetized ferrite and gold. Here's the list of non-working resources:
Gold
Magnetized Ferrite
Rusted Metal
Sodium
Sulphurine : working with 1/25 storage. (10 for extractor and 40 for depot)
A good alternate source would be to
(1) mine gold deposits directly
(2) mine gold asteroids
(3) mine gold metal fingers
All of the above are pretty easy to get enough gold from. Or stop making solar panels and just look for electromagnetic hotspots. Saves a ton of gold that way.
I don't know if it's a bug that'll be fixed or the intended use but that's how it's working in my game.
If you have overloaded supply depots, all you need to do is build a new depot and connect the overloaded to the new one. It will gradually fill up as the overload now has somewhere to go!
You can tweak the exact number of depots you need easily by funneling all of your overloaded depots into a single empty one and adding new empties until your grid is working as you need it to.
I realize that left alone long enough every depot will overload, but the method for an 'exact number' may be useful if you are making round trips like I am.
