Extracting resources from a Supply Depot
I found a hot spot mining area using my visor, I've got two solar panels hooked up to a battery which supply a mining extractor and a supply depot. The extractor and depot are connected using a supply pipe. My supply depot is full but I have no idea how to extract the minerals from the supply depot (gold). Any suggestions?

I have some gas (oxygen) extractors that allow you to take the resources from the depot directly, but not the mineral one.

I was wondering the exact same thing. Built an extractor on a gold hotspot and hooked it up to a supply depot. The depot has been running for the night and shows as 100% full. However, I don't see any button anywhere to take something from the extractor or depot??

Gold deposits don't work currently, they will always show capacity overloaded or whatever. On a functioning deposit you just click on the resource once some has been harvested and send it to your suit/ship, like you are pulling it out of a refiner or any other machine.

Hey @alarik

There's currently a bug with some resources when using the extractors! I've tried Cobalt, it works. Gold doesn't work, I'll try other resources tonight!

Thanks all for your comments. Gold still doesn't work, but good to know the community is on it. =D

update: Magnetised ferrite also does not work.
supply depot at 100%, absolutely nothing I can do with it.

Seems sodium is the same way, depots are full, can't do a damn thing with it

If you approach the supply depot, you can open it like every other container. On the PC you click and hold "E" which then opens the depot. Then transfer the stored cargo to your exosuit or ship.

Some mineral types are still bugged and can't be extracted, most notably magnetized ferrite and gold. Here's the list of non-working resources:
Gold
Magnetized Ferrite
Rusted Metal
Sodium
Sulphurine : working with 1/25 storage. (10 for extractor and 40 for depot)

A good alternate source would be to
(1) mine gold deposits directly
(2) mine gold asteroids
(3) mine gold metal fingers

All of the above are pretty easy to get enough gold from. Or stop making solar panels and just look for electromagnetic hotspots. Saves a ton of gold that way.

According to the in-game descriptions the Supply Depot is actually just a bigger battery. It doesn't store items, it stores power and send it out to extractors that need it. You still need to open up the extractors to access the resources.

I don't know if it's a bug that'll be fixed or the intended use but that's how it's working in my game.

No, each one adds storage capacity.

I actually just figured this one out, and since I googled this a ton and didn't see a definitive answer even now, I'd like to share.

If you have overloaded supply depots, all you need to do is build a new depot and connect the overloaded to the new one. It will gradually fill up as the overload now has somewhere to go!

You can tweak the exact number of depots you need easily by funneling all of your overloaded depots into a single empty one and adding new empties until your grid is working as you need it to.

I realize that left alone long enough every depot will overload, but the method for an 'exact number' may be useful if you are making round trips like I am.
