Weird Texture?
I've been noticing the texture of the floor on space station and them looking kinda static. I'm not sure if it is a product of the DLSS, my hardware, or the game itself. does anyone else see what i can only describe as static on space station floor reflections?

Yeah I have this problem too. The faces of the Gecks looked really weird too in my game, while they didn't before!

There's someting definitely wrong with the texture rendering right now. I spent most of last night playing in a low-res universe despite my settings still being on high and everything good to go for high-res gameplay. You're not the only one, friend; seems to be a trend for a lot of us at the moment.

For me, this is a prelude to the game crashing. I changed my texture setting from high to enhanced, and that problem went away.

I mean, I've played for a couple hours the past few days without any crashing... yet.

I've got odd texture issues too. Creatures/rocks/plants etc all look super-low res some times despite my settings being on high. It's like it's not rendered the texture over the model.

only weird texture i seen was when i warped to a sector and there were huge black SCREEN looking things blocking lots of stuff while i faught some bandits...

is that normal?

the floor reflection is the settings in graphics . adds bump maping.

is that glitching out for u . try turning the floor quality up or down.

also. not sure if bug. but only recently i started seeing these tethers between everything.
are u supposed to see them? like all planets and suns/etc i can see this like black/faint line that looks like a tether leaves multiple directions to all. in space view.

It's not glitching out but it constantly loos like it's blurry rain falling whenever I walk to/from my ship in a space station.

Those are Trade Routes between planets' Trading Posts and the system's Space Station.

This happened to me as well and was driving me crazy. Turn reflections down to "Enhanced" in the graphics settings. Immediate fix.

Note: this is a fix for the static / black pixels in reflections and lighting, but doesn't seem to fix the bug where low textures will start loading after warping.

Cool, I'll try it.

We've all got video cards that are built for high quality. Any settings in our computer for video settings should be set to Quality instead of Performance is for low res systems and will conflict with the Video card's. "That is" find any settings that set for better performance instead of Quality and set them to Quality. Otherwise the two will cause a conflicts with resolution so suits of armor seem to blur to one color with no definition, or the ground will look glazed and smooth, as will large objects like minerals. If any of the computer settings or video card setting for our Quality DLSS systems are not set to Quality it will cause the computer to have conflicts with the Video Cards capabilities.

If you hear your fan on your computer get loud it's because the hardware is getting too hot. A sure sign your settings are not all set for the Superb video cards we have now a days. Even in the System settings of Microsoft their are settings to make Microsoft use quality instead of performance too. There is a spot you can put the dot in to tell it to use Quality.

System properties. In Run type sysdm.cpl and a pop up will appear. A windows showing a whole bunch of what Windows is in charge of. Change the Let Windows Control your settings in Performance to Let Windows manages you settings in Quality and that's one less conflict for your Valuable Video card that will over heat it and wear it out faster.

There are more of those conflicting controls. In Nvidia video card Controls change any that say for best performance in the 3D settings to Quality. Find any settings that are set to performance that can be changed to quality because they are causing a conflict with your Superb Video Cards.

Some computers have a built in video card that will work if you don't have a fancy one like NVidia's or that other companies installed. If you have a DLSS quality card you can go into Device Manager and make sure the onboard built in video card is turned off and it's software is uninstalled because we really don't need it and it can use power when it even gets a little tingle to operate. Turning it off and uninstalling the software drivers will assure you your DLSS is fully in charge of your game play. And is better at it than the low res built into the computers Motherboard and is capable of being active even though tyou have an Excellent video card installed.

Just as I was starting up a new program today I found that one in System controls and gave Windows control of the Quality settings and I have already seen a improvement. No res blurring after two hours of play. I quit though because I had to rest up after a health problem set back.

I will play again later, and I feel confident that one in Windows System Properties settings in my Windows 11 OS changed to Quality has made a good difference.

I'm not using Windows 11 so that system tweak isn't the same in Windows 10, at least the way you described it I don't see anything that lets Windows control the settings in performance/quality.

Yep. There's a problem with memory leak on GPU. To fix this problema temporally, just decrease the texture quality above your Vram graphic card.
Ex.:
If you play with texture on ultra, decrease to high.
If you play with texture on Hight, decrease to enhanced.

This, prevents the memory leak... consuming less memory.
