TKGAMESETTINGS and TKGRAPHICSSETTINGS files. Then run repair game from steam which re download the 2 deleted files.
From in-game settings, audjust the max FPS count with the same HZ of your monitor on windows os screen. Example, my monitor is set to 100hz and the max fps count in game at 100.
I used to disable V-sync since I have G-sync monitor (1440p), but it seems NMS does not support or mess with it, and so leave V-sync on at default settings.
With rtx 3060ti and i7 9700k I left all at high settings as default, and only textures increased at ultra. DLSS set to quality ( under antialias in-game menu). All the rest at the default.
This has fixed my recent stuttering, screen tearing, and lag with the game. GL
correction: Your system i7 3770k GTX 1070 16gig ram.
Much easier to read that way
Um, ok. Thanks?
Here's a video that might help.

Did you try the guide in post #9 of this thread? I haven't done a formal tally, but IIRC the people that have reported greatly reduced stutters have all had older i5 cpu's. That is, when they do actually list their computer specs. Not everyone has listed their specs, so that could be coincidence.
As of 5 days ago, I was running the game just fine on Ultra settings - sure my graphics card makes a lot of heat and noise, but the game rendered very well.
Then, it began with the stuttering and 10 fps thing.
I tried all the suggestions, nothing worked.
But I remembered one thing... about the time it started running poorly, I had previously run "Nvidea Geforce Experience" for the *Very First Time* since my fresh install of Windows.
I Uninstalled Nvidea GeForce Experience, and PRESTO!! The game runs smoothly as it did before. I'm pleased as punch.
Hope this helps anybody!
