Blurry Textures, Not Rendering Fully...?
I took a long break from the game and just came back for the new expedition and I am noticing that after playing for a while, or doing a bit of travelling around, that certain textures stop rendering fully and appear blurry.

Does anyone know if there is a reason for this..?, I have never had this issue before and I doubt it's my system.. Could it be a driver issue..?, my graphics drivers are always up to date..

The only thing that seems to fix it is shutting the game down and starting it again..

Thanks...

Same here. I backed my texture down to enhanced and that fixed it.

Seriously...? So HG screwed us again, nice... Thanks for letting me know, I'll try lowering the settings..

ALL settings, or just certain ones, which do I need to lower..?

Apparently it still comes back to me even when I lower it. Changing texture quality however makes the issue go away for a short time.

maybe nms will do a (only bug/glitch fix) patch in the future to address all these optimization issues.. one can hope~

That would be nice, but highly doubtful..

FWIW: this seems to be related to LOD somehow... i've been watching other topics about the same problem... in one of them, it was pointed out that there is a mod that one can add which, as one of its functions, adjusts the LOD... those that tried the mod reported it did fix their problems...

i'm not much on mods, really, or i'd give it a try... i'm just not sure how to go about adding it on my linux steam system... it has an RTX2060 and i'm running with HIGH quality... i think i've seen what others have been talking about but i'm really not sure... i play the game more than i spend time looking at the details of the scenery...

Try the mod "Fine LOD" - it fixes all those issues.

yeah, i think that's the one i saw mentioned... it does like 3 or 4 other things, too, though...

I'm using it and it does prevent the ground LODs from breaking but NPCs, animals and plants still break after a while.

or reduce your texture settings a notch or two... at least for now...

It only delays the issue, but does not solve it. Guess just gotta swallow it for now.

Same, it's fine at the start but gets progressively worse over time,

I'm on a i7-7700 and a gtx 1080ti with 16gb of ddr4 ram
