Repair Kit -> Multi-tool? [SOLVED userError]
I was able to use repair kits for the sub systems of my space-fleet by going to individual ships in space and crawling around on them with the repair kits in y iventory, dragging and dropping.

But Repair kits do not work for multi-tool repairs do thay? or if they do, how is it done? as i failed to figure it out. :/

So i read elsewhere that the Repair option is in the dialog menu
"Press [E] to repair"
it was not coming up for me for some reason, but in spite of not seeing the dialog, i tried it and it worked to start the repair. Im not sure what sort of glitch could be causing my dialog to lack the repair info.

Edit: i closed the game and had steam Verify files however, and its started dl'ing some things. so that is probably going to take care of it.

I'm saving my repair kits in case my mech's brain gets fried.

Appears to be fixed, i now get the dialog menu. At this point i think it was just a matter of my game version reverting due to BSOD earlier today. I use a Ram-Drive that (when things go right) backs up an image of the ram drive to an SSD file, so when the system restarts it can redeploy that image to the ram-drive. It's a unique case scenario. And when i restarted my version of the game was older, because the BSOD did not allow a proper backup/shutdown batch to carry out.

I've just under 40 repair kits now. its all i feel is worth buying after the infested derelict freighter missions. Hunting those S-Class Freighter technologies adds up. I don't really use the mech for anything. or the exocraft in general. They are pretty cool though!
