Alluring Specimen - weekend event

I have been searching for over 40 minutes for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ alluring specimen without any luck.
Wtf to do ???

Find a planet with reasonably deep water (assuming they did not direct you to one). They usually only spawn in 30m or deeper water so look for a large water body on the planet from space. You may have to back off a ways to get the view you need.

They did direct me to one. Sadge. But I just found out that you can get hadal core from underwater relics. SAVED

Where it sent me on one of these missions, I had a Freighter First, then while running around, I got a Hypnotic Eye, and an EXP Award for taking that out, and 3 of the Alluring Specimen...
I landed on an Island, and Swamp a Huge Circle around it.

it turns out you can look for "submerged relic" and get the item from those too. Also, I killed an abyssal horror and got one unit of goal from that too. in fact I never saw a single "Alluring specimen"

I saw an "Alluring specimen", it just seemed to be a giant odd-looking rock. Mined it, got no mission progress, I'm not sure if I was supposed to interact or what? Anyway, I got the items from Submerged Relics. I don't remember how long I was searching, but could easily have been half an hour.

There are white lights hanging from a branch like arm. You swim up, hold “e” to collect the core & if you’re lucky you won’t ♥♥♥♥♥ your pants when “it” comes out to say “Hi”
