my settings are on complete default! just turned dlss on in performance mode.
i have rtx 3070 and R5 5600X and 24Gb ddr4 ram 3200mhz and game on ssd
I also started to notice that a lot of planets are showing gaps between the seems where the textures should connect. Giving me a hollow view below the surface.
Though not sure when these things started to show up as it has been a few months since I played the game and only came back to test this new update. But I can't remember having had these kind of problems in the past.
yes, that is something i also noticed. at this weekend, the nexus weekend mission, there often was no groundtexture, so i could see the stars through the ground, that was also new to me... :c
This is the first time I've experienced this with Geforce. But it does set all of the graphics higher than normal. I will usually bring them down a one notch when having drag issues and that usually works while the game gets ironed out. Then I will let Geforce optimize it again. This is the first I've had trouble with rendering textures. I've brought everything down to game recommendations for my card, (2 notches), but haven't played long enough to see how it does. I'm sure that by the time the expedition starts, I will be able to play on optimized again.
Here's the mod

I hope that helps. :)
Fine LOD is maybe not the smartest choice now:
I've also noticed that the jetpack exhaust seems to loose it attachment points about the same time.
It seems connected to loading screens, as it happens whenever I load in another location. I can only be fixed by restarting the game. The suggested fix of: "removing the shadercache" or by deactivating Steam shadercache had no effect as far as I've experienced. I think it's update related, as this happens consistently after the latest Sentinel update. It didn't happen before it.
Im pretty sure for some reason game do not unload textures that don't need anymore, breaking main purpose of the texture streaming. I can play with texture streaming off but performance in this mode horrible and memory usage just insane. Look like when TS is off game not use low res textures at all, and everything you can see is in full resolution.
I don't thing players can do something by themselves in this situation.
also when i try to disable TS, nothing rlly changes, still getting blurry textures after a while.
i'd love to play the game without texture streaming and every texture on max resolution. :D
