Here is a screenshot using that technique in my landing pads and the light they gave off.
They don't help much at night when it's dark. I have a glass ceiling on that building. You can see it in the picture.
True. I've seen bases that use a cuboid foundation with glass on top which functions as the floor of the main base. The effect is great lighting.
Yes, they have very good lighting. Although it doesn't help when I need to build a warehouse sized building and use the light fixtures they provide in the game that are basically useless. They just need to fix their lights so they work properly.
Well, complaining and waiting around for HG to fix the lights (and other stuff) is one option. OR.. We make it work with the tools provided.
