Fast switching multitools
I'm searching for a way to switch between my 2 multitools fast. The quick menu is not fast enough for me. I've read on the internet that you can bind the multitools with control plus a number. However, the binding doesn't seem to work for me. Either I'm doing it wrong or the binding itself is disabled.
Any ideas for fast multitool switching?

The ctrl-# is the way its done. You are able to assign a ctrl-# to each tool, but when you press the number nothing happens? Do you see the little numbers above the tool in the menu?

I don't see the number when I user ctrl + 1, for example. It may be because of the Anomaly...

I bound mine and I don't need ctrl .. I swap with just a tap of 0 and 9 button, on PC with standard keyboard and mouse.

It should work anywhere you can pull up that menu and assign number shortcuts. If you're not seeing the numbers in the menu, that explains it. Your numbers aren't being assigned.

Hold CTRL down and press a number when that option is current on the menu.

That's how the hot keys are used. But CTRL is needed to assign them the first time.

Could be but you don't have the Anomaly orbiting the planet. :)

I've found the problem. The numbers are reacting only on the numpad on the right side of the keyboard and not on the numbers above the letters. I don't know why it's so but at least I've discovered how to do it.

it should look like this

I assigned 0 for photo mode.

The number to use are from keyboard not numpad, and 1 and 3 are assigned by default for toggle visor in surveying mode

I already did it. I said what the problem was on my end.
