Expedition Phase 5 Worm burrows no scanner/location
So all chapters up to 5 completed, How do i follow this worm I'm clearly on the wrong planet for this? There are worm burrows all over but the scanner is not giving me location service, and i've collected a lot of their wormy innards now.

you can be on any of the worm ridden planets the expedition takes you to for the rendezvous points... i started and finished on Wasan, the starting planet but i did go to all five plus a few outside of the expedition path...

ive been on 5 planets now where i know there have been spots. i dont get any spawns. im now on Oichima VIII right on the rendezvous place, scanner activated but shows allways left.

similar issue. I disregarded the "scanner" and went with the old tactic of flying about until you spot a worm tower.

it seems you have to wait some time. the spots spawned for me after about 15minutes running around.

don't use the sweep scanner... use the regular one... the worm nests will appear as red diamonds... if you don't find one, follow the next worm to where it disappears into the ground and you should find a nest there...

Yeah, I wasted like 30 minutes because I was using the sweep scanner.

Any burrow will work for the quest as all tendrils drop the vile doodads. You just can't pick them up until you complete the upgrade module of the prior quest.

I'm on phase 5, Spawn beneath your skin, and I've gone back to systems that have a worm infestations as part of the quests but I no longer see the worms breaching the ground anymore. The quest indicates that the planet must say "High Titan Worm Activity" but I've searched for 3 days across dozens and dozens of systems but I can't find anything like this to finish this expedition.

You need to go to the system marked as spoiler in the posts above here.
That will let you progress, yes, had similar confusion in other worm systems too.

Thought i had a similar issue. Completed till Phase 5 Vile spawn... Tracker wouldnt locate them but no issue as after i watched a worm emerge and submerge i found one. My problem is that now no matter how many of the spawns i kill and their drops i collect NONE of them count. i have collected DOZENS of those drops and they just POOF vanish after i hold "E". About to log in and try again :(

Solved: Disabled all mods and it fixed

Thank you. You were correct. I kept thinking that I had to go to a planet marked as having an infestation or titan activity. The quest hints were very misleading.

Actually ANY of the original Emergence worm planets will work, (the ones the expedition sends you to rendezvous in each phase). I finished phase 5 back on Wasan, the starting planet, so any of those planets will work.
