Only on 1 of the missions did it eventually redirect me to a comm point on another larger base. The rest of them are still in limbo and I'm just ignoring them until they either disappear or fix themselves.
Would do the whole suggested, Save, quit, reload, no joy. File Integraty check, no bad files found. Find a nearby Trading Station, only ONCE did I find an NPC that let me turn in the quest, however that was for an older outstanding quest in a DIFFERENT Galaxy, and was NOT the quest I had active either. I would even try to find minor settlements, as was once suggest in a much older post, and still no Joy.
Ended up quiting the quests, and no longer bother with doing/accepting ANY planet based NPC quests.
As a note, after the Visions update, I created a new game, and quickly found a planet based NPC quest, since I could not build a beacon as of yet, I placed a signal booster outside the building and noted the planet I was on. Upon completion, I was sent to a different planet to turn in the quest, again the floating icon above the center floor piece behind the non-corrupted Terminal. Spent about 10 minutes looking for the signal booster I placed on the original quest planet.
The only thing that I believe could maybe be causing this issue, is something happens to "files' when in multiplayer, as a Steam friend and I both started this game together. As a note the post Visions new game was set to not allow anyone to join, yet the possible "core files" could already be "corrupted" so to speak? Just a guess.
So possibly make extra sure that you don't have any "E" points of interest highlighted before interacting with the NPC and also that any you may set afterwards are reset. Just set a custom POI on the ground and walk over it to clear it. Might help; don't know. It is an annoying glitch!
