No you can't, just ask people to give you stuff in the nexus. I usally give out a stack of activated indium once a day. Also if you want to cheat credits you can. Nobody will ban you for it, but you really should'nt ruin the game from yourself this way.

It's not ruining the game for those that want to do it. If anything it's cutting out a very tedious part of the game so those that want to can just get to exploring every star system quickly, and allowing them to get a decent ship.

Units are laughably easy to earn in this game, there's absolutely nothing tedious about it. It takes around 30 min to an hour to earn the money needed to purchase an exotic ship which will allow you to explore whatever you please.

This made me smile, units being so easy to come by...given that only the 4.5 billion cap HG has on units is the only thing stopping vast numbers of players from having really obscene amounts of units...who would buy them?...well apart from OP that is.

No save editor required, either build a big AI farm...or go visit one built by kind people to aid fellow travellers, a visit to a good one with a empty max inventory ship or two and you have a billion or close to it, seed money for life, after that money makes money.

I guess what I am saying it would ruin it for me.

I am not telling anyone what to do, if you want to savegameedit your way do it. I could take the stuff I have in stores right now and build you 500 million worth of stuff you could sell even without the editor.

The reason I only give out a stack of activated indium to new players is because I want to help them, but I dont want to steal their feeling of accomplishment with the game from them.
