You've got more power than I have but even if the last update brings some stuttering sometimes, It's still playable for me, so it shuld run well for you.
And every one playing NMS withour VR: got get a VR and try it ;)
For VR I would recommend a newer CPU and at least a 3070.
Currently I have a 7700k and a 1070 and its not good enough
for a decent CV1 experience.
side note: Nvidia 3000 chips are ONLY produced by Samsung in a custom 8nm process which evidently Samsung/Nvidia do not wish to produce enough for consumers.
AMD graphics cards are produced by TSMC.
Both have silicon plants in the works to be built in the US which MAY fix this graphics card problem but not likely until 2024.
That card isn't going to cut it for VR for NMS. It's the single most demanding VR experience by far. Even with my old rtx 2070 I had to turn stuff way down using a Rift S. Sitting pretty with a RTX 3080 now.
Im not even running max settings and the game stutter like crazy and FPS is super low
Im running with a 9900KS and a 3090
