I just wanna have a worm :(
***
Just curious - where is that said?
In the video, at 17sec it says, "flying creatures can now become pets, and be ridden". (No mention of worms specifically).
In the full patch notes it says:
* Virtually all low-flying and land-based creatures can now be tamed and adopted as companions.
* Low-flying companions can be mounted and flown through the sky.
(Emphasis on "low-flying"; high-flying worms not mentioned).

They didn't specify what kind of "flying worms", but I assume that they meant, well, the flying worms. But they could mean those really rare little, less worm-like, flying worms that they had in the trailer.
Yep, it does indeed say it there. Thanks for the link!
Having read it - I understand how you got that impression.
It still would be kinda neat to be able to ride worms, though, haha
My bad, I guess it was all worth it in the end in the name of science
