Once Expedition 2 is complete, is the Myth Beacon useful for anything?

I've completed Expedition 2. Now I have a Myth Bean and a Historiagraphical Dosimeter taking up space in my exosuit.

It looks like the Dosimeter can be used to generate quicksilver still at Monoliths, etc.

But is the Myth Beacon useful for anything one I've completed Expeditions 2?

Might be, at some later date. Get a cheap ship or even a wreck to use for deep storage. You can have up to 6 ships.

The dosimeter is useful as you already noticed but we don't know what will become of the myth beacon, I would keep it just in case but then again I suppose you could always buy a new one if you really want it out of your inventory.

Until the Exp 2 is formally over and the next update happens, no one will really know, and HG isn't talking.

For what it's worth, you can claim an Historiographical Dosimeter from the Quicksilver Companion for successfully completing the Expedition. In my Main save, it doesn't do anything, doesn't work as it does in the Expedition. I guess it's just a Memento.
