2 & 3 are subjective if you like the look of it and / or like uncovering lore then yes.
4. Know how to follow directions.
2. For me, absolutely.
3. For me, absolutely.
4. It does take a long time to get a Living Ship and an even longer time to fully upgrade it. But the quest is interesting and the end result is a powerful exotic that produces some unusual random encounters. I only have two sharships with the Living Ship being my day-to-day workhorse.
The quest is interesting, the ships are interesting and like a lot of this game it depends on how you want to play it. I just took my time, dinked around having fun and didn't bother to check places like you-tube for hints until I'd done the main plotline and the living ship was part of the experience.
As a comment, allowing the Living ships to either hover or land on water would make them VERY desirable.
Same here, I had 3 for a short while and now I'm just keeping this one in my freighter probably because if I ever want to remember what it's like to drive it but i'm really thinking of using it as an exchange to finish my collection of exos.
Edit: Some of them look like plucked chickens, the devs could've made a special kind of mechanical ship that makes you go wow! with super shields super firepower extra speed etc. (elite dangerous ships) but decided on those things... They're only appealing to the new guy
Hehe, I nicely fit in this veteran bracket but I am not annoyed. I have 2500+ hours in NMS. Did LS mission only once when we got them. Never again. Waste of time that can be spend on actually playing the game and exploring stuff...
Yesterday I had someone gift me a void egg in the Anomaly. 3200 quicksilver worth deleted. I didn't even try to sell the thing.
You can exchange it for any other ship at a space station but it's worth almost nothing .... but you can.... that's what I did with my other living ships... abandoned them in the space station for another ship loll
